My Story

Born in Kolkata, India on 09/01/1987. Studied at the International Institute of Fashion Design, Lindast Street, Kolkata.​ Designer Sourav Ghosh, passed out from INIFD Lindasy and started his career as a Fashion designer, along with working in Retail Industry as a Visual Merchandiser. After 3 years of struggle finally got an opportunity to showcase my Designer Bikini Collection at Kolkata Fashion & Design Week. In a very short time achieved a lot of appreciation from the Fashion Industry including more than 25 shows in cities like Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata and other parts of India. Some of the Designs also got appreciated in different Magazines including the Cover page for Debonair.

The inspirations of Designs mostly arrived from the ancient art and stone carvings in the temples of India. A vision to express Eroticism in Traditional theme craved me to design. A fusion of western bikini and Indian traditional Fabric and hand work makes an exclusive Design which I love to name as INDIAN BIKINI or Designer Backless Halter Blouses.

 

With the due course of time I started PHOTOGRAPHY to add more dimension to my Designs. The concept of Design comes more prominent  with the effect of Light and Location.  It is not just a Bikini, a Painting nor just a Photograph, It is a Silent Story of Erotica which every person confesses at one point of time. Its a piece of ART which includes Design, Concept & Photography to reveal my inner self.​
